Choosing a surrogate mother is one of the most critical steps in this program, as she is responsible for carrying your child for nine months.
Criteria for selecting a surrogate motherВ
Choosing a surrogate mother can seem like a real challenge, and the agency that proposes the candidates makes a meticulous search based on several aspects: personal, physiological, and psychological.
In order to provide you with relevant candidates, the Tat Surrogacy team takes into account the following information:
- the mental and physical health of the surrogate;
- her age (the recommended age of the surrogate mother varies between 21 and 37 years old);
- healthy lifestyle;
- her interests;
- her experience as a surrogate mother;
- criminal history;
- previous deliveries and the presence of children;
- her motivations for becoming a surrogate mother.
However, this list is far from complete. From the first contact, it is essential to create a feeling of comfort and trust between the couple and the surrogate mother. Our goal is to make all the necessary conditions for the surrogacy process to run as smoothly as possible for both parties.
