Female infertility: the most frequent causes

Many couples have difficulty conceiving a child after more than 12 months of regular sexual intercourse without contraception. In this case, we speak of infertility.
The problems can come from both partners. However, when the spermogram does not reveal any issues, the infertility is of female origin. What are the most common causes of infertility in women?
Ovarian disorders
Anovulation (the absence of ovulation) is one of the leading causes of sterility. Ovarian failure and polycystic ovary syndrome are often mentioned as the main factors that make natural conception difficult.
Endometriosis
Women with this chronic disease may experience fertility problems.
Uterine malformaty, anatomical irregularities can prevent the implantation of the embryo or the encounter between egg and sperm.
Sexually transmitted infections like Chlamydia.
And what about the biological clock in all this?
When we talk about infertility, we seem to forget the factor that limits fertility: age, В as female fertility peaks at the age of 20. In ten years, women will only have 12% of their ovarian reserves, which is 3% in women over 40 years of age.
