Il est constitu\u00e9 de 46 chromosomes : 22 paires d\u2019autosomes (les m\u00eames pour les hommes et les femmes) et une paire chromosomique sexuelle. Le caryotype d&rsquo;une personne reste le m\u00eame au cours de sa vie.<\/p>\n<p>Tandis que l&rsquo;ovule contient 22 chromosomes et un chromosome sexuel X, le spermatozo\u00efde se compose de 22 chromosomes et un chromosome sexuel X ou Y.<\/p>\n<p>Chaque chromosome contient des g\u00e8nes. En cas de fusion des ovules et des spermatozo\u00efdes, leur mat\u00e9riel g\u00e9n\u00e9tique est combin\u00e9 pour former un futur \u00eatre humain poss\u00e9dant 46 chromosomes.<\/p>\n<p>Le sexe de l&rsquo;enfant \u00e0 na\u00eetre d\u00e9pend du type de chromosome sexuel que le spermatozo\u00efde va apporter. <em>La f\u00e9condation de l&rsquo;ovule qui se produit avec un spermatozo\u00efde porteur d\u2019un chromosome X donnera une fille. La combinaison des chromosomes X et Y donnera un gar\u00e7on.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Les chromosomes se diff\u00e8rent par la taille et les particularit\u00e9s de leur structure interne, ce qui permet de distinguer un chromosome d&rsquo;un autre au cours de l&rsquo;\u00e9tude.<\/p>\n<p>65 % des pertes de grossesse pr\u00e9coces sont dues \u00e0 une pathologie chromosomique de l&#8217;embryon (fausse couche, grossesse ectopique.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Quelles sont les anomalies chromosomiques ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les anomalies chromosomiques repr\u00e9sentent une modification du nombre ou de la structure des chromosomes. C\u2019est le cas lorsqu\u2019un ovule est f\u00e9cond\u00e9 par deux spermatozo\u00efdes \u00e0 la fois, ou qu&rsquo;un dysfonctionnement se produit au tout d\u00e9but de la division embryonnaire).<\/li>\n<li>Translocations, l\u2019\u00e9change de mat\u00e9riel g\u00e9n\u00e9tique entre deux chromosomes non homologues. Il peut y avoir des translocations \u00e9quilibr\u00e9es (la personne peut ne pas en avoir connaissance) et des translocations d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibr\u00e9es (lorsque l&rsquo;organisme n&rsquo;est pas viable).<\/li>\n<li>Microd\u00e9l\u00e9tions, la perte de segments de chromosomes. Les microd\u00e9l\u00e9tions provoquent des syndromes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques sp\u00e9cifiques (en l&rsquo;occurrence le syndrome de Lejeune qui est la d\u00e9l\u00e9tion d\u2019une partie du chromosome 5).\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Quand doit-on effectuer un caryotype\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>En cas de fausses couches r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es (2 ou plusieurs interruptions spontan\u00e9es de grossesse jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la 22\u00e8me semaine).<\/li>\n<li>En cas de tentatives non r\u00e9ussies de transfert d&#8217;embryons sans PGD excluant des pathologies ut\u00e9rines\/endom\u00e9triales.<\/li>\n<li>Lors d\u2019am\u00e9norrh\u00e9e primaire (absence de r\u00e8gles au cours de la vie).<\/li>\n<li>Si l&rsquo;anamn\u00e8se de la femme\/de l\u2019homme ou de ses proches comprend des cas de maladies chromosomiques cong\u00e9nitales.<\/li>\n<li>Si la concentration en spermatozo\u00efdes de l&rsquo;\u00e9jaculat est de moins de 10 millions\/ml.<\/li>\n<li>En cas d\u2019azoospermie (absence de spermatozo\u00efdes dans l&rsquo;\u00e9jaculat).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Vous avez des questions ?
