O cari\u00f3tipo de uma pessoa permanece o mesmo durante toda a sua vida.<\/p>\n<p>Enquanto o \u00f3vulo cont\u00e9m 22 cromossomas e um cromossoma sexual X, o espermatoz\u00f3ide \u00e9 constitu\u00eddo por 22 cromossomas e um cromossoma sexual X ou Y.<\/p>\n<p>Cada cromossoma cont\u00e9m genes. Quando os \u00f3vulos e os espermatozoides se fundem, o seu material gen\u00e9tico \u00e9 combinado para formar um futuro ser humano com 46 cromossomas.<\/p>\n<p>O sexo do feto depende do tipo de cromossoma sexual que o espermatoz\u00f3ide trar\u00e1. <em>Se a fecunda\u00e7\u00e3o do \u00f3vulo ocorrer com um espermatoz\u00f3ide portador de um cromossoma X, resultar\u00e1 numa menina. A combina\u00e7\u00e3o dos cromossomas X e Y dar\u00e1 um rapaz.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Os cromossomas diferem em tamanho e estrutura interna, o que permite distinguir um cromossoma de outro durante o estudo.<\/p>\n<p>65% das perdas gestacionais precoces devem-se a uma patologia cromoss\u00f3mica do embri\u00e3o (aborto espont\u00e2neo, gravidez ect\u00f3pica).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Quais as anomalias cromoss\u00f3micas?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As anomalias cromoss\u00f3micas representam uma altera\u00e7\u00e3o no n\u00famero ou na estrutura dos cromossomas. Existem v\u00e1rios tipos de anomalias:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trissomia, a presen\u00e7a de um cromossoma supranumer\u00e1rio (trissomia 21 ou s\u00edndrome de Down).<\/li>\n<li>Monossomia, aus\u00eancia de cromossoma: o cari\u00f3tipo do embri\u00e3o, 45 X0, \u00e9 caracterizado pela aus\u00eancia de cromossoma sexual (S\u00edndrome de Turner).<\/li>\n<li>A poliploidia \u00e9 um acidente de fecunda\u00e7\u00e3o quando um conjunto de cromossomas duplica ou triplica: em vez de 46 XX, o embri\u00e3o pode ter 69 XXX. Isto verifica-se quando um \u00f3vulo \u00e9 fecundado por dois espermatoz\u00f3ides ao mesmo tempo, ou quando ocorre uma disfun\u00e7\u00e3o logo no in\u00edcio da divis\u00e3o do embri\u00e3o).<\/li>\n<li>Transloca\u00e7\u00f5es, a troca de material gen\u00e9tico entre dois cromossomas n\u00e3o hom\u00f3logos. Podem ocorrer transloca\u00e7\u00f5es equilibradas (a pessoa pode n\u00e3o ter consci\u00eancia delas) e transloca\u00e7\u00f5es desequilibradas (quando o organismo n\u00e3o \u00e9 vi\u00e1vel).\n<li>Microdele\u00e7\u00f5es, a perda de segmentos cromoss\u00f3micos. As microdele\u00e7\u00f5es causam s\u00edndromes gen\u00e9ticos espec\u00edficos (neste caso, a s\u00edndrome de Lejeune, que \u00e9 a dele\u00e7\u00e3o de parte do cromossoma 5).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Quando deve ser realizado um cari\u00f3tipo?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Em caso de abortos repetidos (2 ou mais interrup\u00e7\u00f5es espont\u00e2neas da gravidez at\u00e9 \u00e0 22\u00aa semana).<\/li>\n<li>Em caso de tentativas mal sucedidas de transfer\u00eancia de embri\u00f5es sem DGPI, excluindo patologias uterinas\/endometriais.<\/li>\n<li>No caso de amenorreia prim\u00e1ria (aus\u00eancia de menstrua\u00e7\u00e3o durante a vida).<\/li>\n<li>Se a anamnese da mulher\/homem ou dos seus familiares incluir casos de doen\u00e7as cromoss\u00f3micas cong\u00e9nitas.<\/li>\n<li>Se a concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de espermatoz\u00f3ides no ejaculado for inferior a 10 milh\u00f5es\/ml.<\/li>\n<li>Em casos de azoospermia (aus\u00eancia de espermatoz\u00f3ides no ejaculado).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Se tiver alguma d\u00favida.
